Participants in a discussion at the 10th Delphi Economic Forum, which took place on April 9-12, spoke about Greece’s journey from 2015 to the present, the challenges, and the threatened tariffs.
Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister and Government Spokesperson, Pavlos Marinakis, after presenting the difficulties that Greece had to face in the last decade, referred to the current improved situation.
However, he stressed that there are still problems that need to be addressed and added that so far the world has not received what has changed in the Greek economy. For this reason, he stressed that the government must accelerate the absorption of EU funds, such as the Recovery Fund and the National Strategic Reference Framework.

Regarding the international situation, he pointed out that Greece must build bridges with new markets such as China and India, but also maintain long-standing good relations with the US.
Regarding innovations and investments, he commented that Artificial Intelligence is being used in the Public Sector, while the DAIDALOS supercomputer will be built, while investments in Data Centers are progressing.
In closing, he pointed out that the conditions and incentives must be created for companies in Greece to attract staff.
