TikToker Known as “Roma Mediator” Arrested in Western Attica for Extortion and Assault

A 42-year-old TikToker, notorious for his lavish lifestyle and self-proclaimed role as a “mediator” in disputes within the Roma community, was arrested in Western Attica on Thursday following a targeted police operation. The suspect, whose social media presence features luxury cars like a Porsche Panamera with Bulgarian plates, gym videos, and aggressive self-promotion, faces charges of extortion, assault on police officers, and multiple other offenses.The arrest occurred when police attempted a routine stop. The suspect fled on foot and violently resisted, striking officers before being subdued. Authorities found €1,500 in his possession, along with two shotguns (one stolen), car control units, an airgun magazine, a recording device, and a vehicle with tampered security features.

The investigation centers on extortion schemes targeting the transportation sector. The suspect allegedly pressured an Aspropyrgos-based employee to switch companies for a lower salary, acting on behalf of a businessman. A similar attempt against a transportation company owner was unsuccessful. His threatening online videos, where he portrayed himself resolving disputes, heightened police scrutiny.

The suspect’s criminal record spans 25 cases since 1998, starting at age 15 with theft and escalating to serious crimes like membership in criminal organizations, fraud, robbery, usury, and attempted homicide. Notable incidents include a 2024 extortion case involving €20,700 and a 2021 arrest for a burglary ring. In 2013, while on prison leave, he stole a safe from a campsite.

Currently referred to an investigating judge, the suspect faces an expanding case with at least two others implicated. Authorities anticipate further revelations about his blend of influencer persona and illicit activities according to prothema.gr
