‘Sea Days 2025′, Piraeus’ annual event focusing on the sea, will take place from May 26 to June 8, with over 120 events to choose from. Events at Greece’s largest port city include concerts, art shows, sports events, theater plays, lectures, tours and workshops, along with events for children.
At a press conference at the Piraeus Municipal Theater, Piraeus Mayor Yiannis Moralis said that the event “is a celebration organized by citizens themselves with city agencies, which the Municipality of Piraeus coordinates. The purpose of the event is to highlight the city’s culture, history, and maritime tradition, that is why most events revolve around the theme of the sea or take place next to the sea.”
It is the 11th year of the annual event. It is organized by the municipality and Destination Piraeus, with the cooperation of the ‘Piraeus PLUS’ development organization. It is under the aegis of the Ministries of National Defense, Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy, Tourism, Greek National Tourism Organization, and the Region of Attica in the context of European Maritime Day (EMD).
